Time Commitment:
- Become a Coach (2.75 hours only once- see NEXT STEPS above)
- Hold practice once or more per week (1.5 hours per week)
- Attend games and prepare lineups accordingly (1.5 hours per week)
- Provide information and communication to the parents of the players on your team (20 minutes per week)

- A desire & willingness to help kids in soccer
- You don't need to know everything about soccer, but you do need to come with a desire and willingness to help
- Represent Garfield Soccer with integrity, respect, and excellence
- Treat referees the way you would want to be treated
- This is a recreational league
- Assume the best
- Remember, many of the refs are young and are still learning themselves
- Do what you say - keep your word
- Be prepared for practices and games - the more prepared you are, the better you and your team will be
